The public bus network (Global) covers tourist centers but with limited frequencies in residential areas and resorts away from the main road. Car rental is common among those who want to explore the interior or west coast. For groups or families who don't want to drive, point-to-point private transfer is the most direct option between areas like Playa del Inglés, Meloneras, Puerto Rico or Mogán, without depending on schedules or making connections.
Public bus (Global, lines 66 and 91 to the south, line 60 to Las Palmas, from €2.60 with several stops and up to 90 mins travel); taxi (no fixed price, metered rate); private transfer Million Routes (fixed price before booking, driver waiting at Arrivals, flight tracking, available 24/7). For groups of 4 or more, private transfer is competitive with taxi and fixed price from booking.
