Fuerteventura: the island of wind and endless beaches
Second largest island in the Canary archipelago, Fuerteventura receives flights all year round from all over Europe. Its more than 150 km of beaches, many with white sand and public access, make it the purest beach destination in the Canary Islands. The tourist offer is distributed in three main areas: the lively and cosmopolitan north (Corralejo), the family-friendly and well-connected central-east (Caleta de Fuste, just 10 minutes from the airport) and the extensive and quiet south (Costa Calma, Morro Jable, Jandía). In 2024, the island received more than 2.5 million tourists, 10.6% more than the previous year.
Fuerteventura Airport (FUE) occupies a strategic position in the central-east of the island, allowing easy access to both the north and the south. The closest tourist destination is less than 15 minutes away; the furthest, about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Choosing your transport before landing allows you to start your holiday without delays or changes of plan.
